What is Mapify?

Mapify is an AI-powered app designed to transform any content into clear and concise mind maps, making it easy to capture and organize knowledge on the go. Developed by Xmind, Mapify offers enhanced AI features for summarizing documents, articles, videos, and web pages into visual maps.

Does Mapify use my data to train any AI models?

No, Mapify does not use any customer data for model training. While they employ third-party LLM services like OpenAI and Anthropic solely to provide requested features, all data processed through Mapify remains private and strictly for service delivery.

How do Credits work?

Credits are required for all AI features, including generating, modifying mind maps, and chatting with AI. The amount of Credits required for each summary is primarily based on model and word count, but can also be influenced by file type or size. Credits are provided differently with the three subscription plans: Basic (1000 credits/month), Pro (2000 credits/month), and Unlimited. Credits are non-accumulative and refresh monthly.

Can I use Mapify on multiple devices?

Yes, you can bind your account to up to 3 personal devices to ensure account security. You can manage bound devices via 'Settings → Devices'. Account sharing is prohibited.

What is the Fair Use Policy for unlimited plans?

While Mapify offers unlimited plans, a Fair Use Policy is in place to ensure consistent, high-quality service for all users. Excessive usage may lead to temporary reductions in processing speed, adjustments to model selection, or limitations on resource-intensive features. Users will be notified if their usage approaches these thresholds.
